Goddard Covered BridgePosted by Sylvester (Mt. Sterling, United States) on 9 March 2008 in Landscape & Rural. This one looks so much better after it's restoration was completed last year. What better way to break in my new camera.

Ronnie 2¢ from London, United KingdomThese covered bridges are so attractive . . you have me wondering what it looked like before restoration, now ! Looks like that house beyond is on line with the bridge and would make a good ‘thru’ shot?? 9 Mar 2008 10:30am @Ronnie 2¢: Thanks, we have around 13 still left in the state. This is one of the few that are still used. The "house" is actually a church and I have some "thru" shots of it. Also have one of the old shots of the bridge before it was restored. Edward James from Derry, United StatesNice composition. Covered bridges make for a great subject. Good eye! 10 Mar 2008 7:47pm |
